Refund Policy

1. General Policy
At Joefort Builder Contractors Ltd., we are committed to client satisfaction. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to our services. Due to the nature of construction and contracting work, our refund policy is specific to the stage of the project.
2. Consultation & Design Fees
Fees paid for initial consultations, site surveys, or design services (such as architectural drawings or interior design mockups) are non-refundable once the service has been rendered. These fees cover the time, expertise, and resources allocated to the preliminary stages of your project.
3. Project Deposits
A project deposit is required to secure our services, schedule labor, and procure materials for your project. The refundability of a deposit is as follows:
- Full Refund: If you cancel the project in writing within 72 hours of signing the contract and before any materials have been ordered or custom work has begun, you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit.
- Partial Refund: If you cancel after 72 hours but before the project start date, a portion of the deposit may be retained to cover administrative costs and any non-returnable materials that have been ordered. The amount retained will be documented and justified.
- No Refund: Deposits are non-refundable once the project has commenced, as we have already allocated significant resources and labor.
4. Project Payments
Payments made for completed milestones or phases of a project are non-refundable. We operate on a milestone-based payment schedule, and payment for a milestone constitutes your acceptance of the work completed to that point.
5. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to joefortbuilders@gmail.com. Please include your project details, the reason for the request, and any relevant documentation. We will review your request and respond within 14 business days.
